Mediterranean Citrus Octopus Salad

We love seeing the creative ways our fans use Big Mama’s Backyard Garden Calamondin Vinaigrette, and we’re thrilled to share a stunning recipe from Holly! This Mediterranean Citrus Octopus Salad is packed with fresh, vibrant flavors and is perfect for a light, refreshing meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Octopus, Cooked, Sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Tomato, Cherry, halved
  • 1 cup Persian Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 whole Navel Orange, segmented, cut into bite sizes
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata Olives
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Mint Leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Citrus Calamondin Vinaigrette - Big Mama's Backyard Garden, more as needed

Process:

  • In a large bowl, combine the octopus, citrus segments, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, olives, cilantro, and mint.
  • Toss and marinate: Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat.
  • Let it sit for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Enjoy immediately or chill for 30 minutes for a more intense flavor.
